How Pelk's story began
Armageddon is over. Good has prevailed. The devil Mardaq is imprisoned, held at bay by the combined light of thirteen guardian spirits: the Zodiac.
Generations later, the world lives in peace. In the small island village of Yaipa, a farm boy named Pelk works under the guidance of his teacher, Fortogh, unaware of what lies ahead.
One night, deep in a cave where Pelk is overseeing the construction of a new food store, a cold, sinister bolt of lightning strikes the island. In an instant, everything changes.
Ten of his workers lose their lives. Only a child, hidden in the darkness, sees what really happened. No one believes him.
Now you walk in Pelk's footsteps, through a village that no longer trusts you, towards a destiny you do not yet understand.
